Responsibility of paying increased EDC if possession of apartment delayed

Postby sanchay » Fri Aug 05, 2011 2:58 pm

Dear All,

I am of the opinion that one does not have to pay any increased EDC once the possession of the flat is taken. I would like to ask our legal team to check this viewpoint. If found correct I would say that its RPS who has delayed possession and charging this increased amount from us instead of bearing increased cost themselves.

There may be many more such hidden increased demands from RPS in future as the builder buyer agreement is mostly in Builders favour.

I request you to please consider this as my personal opinion only and provide your thoughts on this.
