HUDA waives retrospective interest on enhanced EDC

Postby umesh.prabhakar1965@rediffmail.com » Fri Mar 09, 2012 4:10 pm

Dear GFWA members,

With your consistent supports and our focused efforts on EDC (External Development Charges), GFWA is pleased to announce that HUDA has withdrawn the interest on enhanced EDC from retrospective effect. GFWA received the copy of internal communication between HUDA and DGTCP.

The letter for the withdrawal of interest is with GFWA. Communication clearly states the efforts of GFWA.

This will directly benefit all members on enhanced EDC where there will be no interest charged on retrospective years i.e. before 31st May 2011 the date when EDC noticed had been issued and surely it will be substantial amount for all housing projects in Neharpar Greater Faridabad.

GFWA thanks to all members for their full support and its all working /governing body members for selfless working for common cause.

Abhi toh naapi hai DHARTI aur abhi saara JAHAN baaki hai.
We,unitedly, will conquer the sky as long as we all are united n dedicated and have strength.
Come and Join the GFWA in order to have a peaceful, better future.
Regards
Umesh Prabhakar

Hi
Greetings

Weldone GFWA. Another feather in the cap of all pushing to get justice..

Translating into figures please clarify would that mean

"INTEREST From 10.1.2009 to 25.5.2011 on Difference EDC only" for Rs. 6.04 Lakhs per Acre out of Grand Total of EDC + EEDC Rs 45.79 Lakhs per Acre??

If true that would work out to a saving of 13% of EDC + Enhanced EDC!!  :yahoo:
(pls chk and correct if we have received any calculations)

Hope we do well in the IDC calculations as well.. 375 per sq mtr applicable from 8th Jan 2008 for residential projects, high potential zones.

Excellent stuff!!!

Cheers

Yes, Groovi.

You are right.
it would mean a wavier of Rs6.04 lacs/acre for plotted development.

and it would be saving of Aprox 19% on Rs 1554/- (Extra Demand by BPTP).
Don't consider only EDC amount, pls take Area effeciency and Final calculations into account as it matters a lot.

Cheers..

Do you have any update when HUDA/DTCP will be sending this notification to Builders? Can copy of the letter to GFWA also made public?

Thanks Manish...hope notification is sent to all Builders at earlist...followed that we need to chase couples of things with builders like:
- Builder must send the revised (reduced) EDC letter now
- Builder must update Payment plan with revised (reduced) EDC
- Adjusting the additional payment made by few some in very next demand for them...

Cheers,
Vikram
