Demand Letter received from Shiv Sai for increased EDC Charges

Hi,

We don't know if anyone in management will be available tomorrow. I suggest we either call them and push them for tomorrow or wait for them to respond. I have already annoyed them multiple times and even the receptionist knows me now so i request Hillol, Arun, and others to call them and confirm to us about the meeting.

I would also suggest that we need to get confirmation from Shiv Sai management for the meeting. There is no point going there and meet with a person who has got no authority.

GFWA requests your help in sending us scanned copy of demand letter for increased EDC. Currently, BPTP, Omaxe and Shiv Sai have sent demands for increased EDC demanding amount in tune of around Rs 2 lakhs ! We are having demand letters of Omaxe and BPTP but yet to receive from your group.

GFWA is in final stages of filing legal case against Haryana Govt. for looting honest tax paying middle class people. They have increased EDC amount by more than 2 times without spending even 1 rupee in development.

We should collectively move to the court as there is no fault of the owners for delay in development. When the EDC charges were already paid and the development has not began and so the cost of development enhanced by delay which is not an act of the owner, so why the owner should bear this cost?. We should know how the Shiv Sai arrived at the enhanced cost of EDC @ 100/- psf, when there is no EDC clearly mentioned in the basic cost which inclue IDC/EDC. As per cost mentioned in the letter, one has to pay about 52% of previous EDC. We should enquire about the earlier decisions of courts in this regard, that was in faour of owners. Any body can help in collecting information on some decided cases of court?
