Updates from meeting with Faridabad DC Praveen Kumar

Postby nmittal » Fri Mar 04, 2011 5:22 pm

Hi
We all at GFWA will like to know the meeting agenda and outcome.
Request the key stakeholders to share the same.
Many of us had very enthusiastically participated in 1st March protest to highlight the total lack of interest in development of Neharpar area.
I am sure this cause is a common thread which is binding all of us, sufferers by different builders.
We all are keen to know what ideas/issues were presented to the DC on this cause and his viewpoint/action points.

Regards
Neeraj

Five members from GFWA met Faridabad Deputy Commissioner Praveen Kumar and apprised him about the Greater Faridabad situation and the various fraudulent activities being carried out by developers.

It was a brief meeting and the DC informed us that demarcation for sectors roads have been done and construction will soon start within couple of months after the crop season ends.

In regards to complaints against developers, he directly spoke with the STP Geeta Prakash and directed her to investigate and submit a report and look into our complaints. He advised STP to convene a meeting again with the developers, STP, himself and the investors after preparing the report. Complaints were submitted against SRS Group, Piyush Group and RPS Group.

After our meeting with the DC, we met the STP Geeta Prakash and also apprised her about the specific complaints against builders and concern about overall development of the area.

Overall, we seem to have made good impact on the administration and atleast they are aware of the situation and our association which is working towards development of the entire area. They have realized that Neharpar is a ticking time bomb with potential to explode and they cannot ignore it anymore. Our demonstration has been a success and media is still following up with us for updates. The impact of our demonstration might not reflect immediately and we should expect any miracles to happen overnight, however I am sure this will have far reaching consequences with news reaching every corner of the political fraternity about Neharpar.

It is upto us to gain maximum mileage out of this event and it is time for all societies to become united. We need representation from every society in the area to give us maximum coverage and we need to decide if we want to fight together as a group here or have our own hidden individual exclusive groups.

Thanks a lot to Mr. Praveen Kaushik of Dainik Bhaskar for providing effective and truthful reporting. Praveen has described yesterday events in his article below:

http://www.bhaskar.com/article/HAR-OTH- ... 06349.html

Hi Jayanta/Dheeraj,

Whether it is HUDA, quality of construction or possession of the apartments - irrespective of the project, we all face same issues.
I am aware that no one from Ozone was present for the meeting but it would have been helpful for the residents of Ozone Park, if that complaint included the name of Shiv Sai Developers as well.

Hi Rajat,

All the builders have the same issues, but we need to submit specific complaints of the builder. Because the officials will question us to explain the problem and only a member from that society can explain the grievances properly.

If you are meeting at the site today, I would suggest first visit the STP office and submit the complaint and tell them you are submitting the complaint from GFWA.

Hi,
Thanks Jayanta for describing the meeting and also arguing to be united for common cause.
We all already ignited the fire, now we need to keep fueling that Fire so that we can get maximum gain from this momentum.
Let’s Fight for Common development of that Area and if all development is in place then builders are force to complete their projects.
Otherwise, if we keep on fighting with builders and forget for Area development then it will not lead to anything.

Because, against Builders we have many ways to fight. But with HUDA and STP, we are not having any solid way to fight. If we push HUDA and STP to carry out their responsibilities, then Builders can’t do anything wrong.

If Infrastructure is not in place, what is the meaning of Possession??

Builders in Haryana Knows that HUDA and STP are sleeping and they are not making them accountable. Therefore, builders are enjoying and cheating us in many ways.

While in Noida or Greater Noida, Authorities are so strong and they are not allowing Builder’s malfunctioning.

Herewith I would like to put some of my suggestion for the Group. This is for parallel working and this way we can have extra mileage to our common fight.

#1 Meeting with Faridabad MP (Mr Avtar Singh Bhadana ) and Haryana Govt Cabinet Minister (Mr Mahender Pratap Singh) who reside in NIT Faridabad. Also with Mr Lalit Nagar ( Congress Leader from Nehar Par Area). I had word with Vineet for the same. Let’s fix this may be for Tomorrow.

#2 Court Cases ( Civil and Consumer Court Cases) making HUDA and STP as party.

#3 RTI follow ups, by hiring some RTI Specialist Lawyer.

#4 Can Contact other Political Parties , so that they can support us as their future vote bank.

#5 Writing Letters to
- Urban Development Ministry (Central Government)
- CM Office
- PMO Office
- Haryana Governor Office
- HUDA- Head Office
#6 Fix Appointment with CM and Governor

#7 After getting response of all above (either Positive or negative), Contact National TV Channels.
(This we can do parallel also)

#8 Contact Different NGO’s whose are dealing these kinds of issues.

I request you all to put your thoughts on the above listed action plan and we can fix the responsibilities among the group members accordingly.

Again there was a coverage in TOTAL TV today between 4:20 and 4:30, I think every hour they are airing this.

one Important Update is that HUDA Govt has budged to the Farmer's pressure and decided not to acquire proposed 6500 Acres of Land in Gurgaon for HSIDC.

Ajay and All,
I also believe that we shd draft a good letter for K.K.Jalan, Financial Commissioner & Principal Secretary to Govt. Haryana,. Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates Department. He is the man who is belived to be very strict and
concerned for FBD developemnt and also he released the fund too.
In addition of that we should be very serious to escalate issue with Mr C.M. on 19th March Fbd visit in open house .
What abt core team conf call discussion tomorrow 8 pm on strategy? We shd not sit relax for Dev issue.
