GFWA member checked the ground reality by visiting HUDA office yesterday. Situation is NOT rosy and HUDA officer informed him that large portions of land are still to be acquired (Only 32 kms out of 52 kms is acquired, 20 kms are still pending !). This is contrary to our meeting with HUDA administrator in which he informed that except Sectors 75 and 80, all land has been acquired.

Yes, It somehow looks true.

In earlier News article, there were news that about Land acquisition complted for 42KM.

but yesterday News talk about 32KM.

Is it changing or reducing day to day basis?

Which one is true?

Even we heard that Farmers are again planning to start protest and asking for better compensation.

There is only one way is reamining ....PIL...
After that Court will ask from HUDA and they will tell truth to Court.

The total length is not 52 kms after the road plan has been realigned to save some already built houses...

Enough

Postby 15.rajat » Thu Jun 23, 2011 8:46 pm

Hi everyone,

I have been reading all forum communications, mails, reading agenda's - prepared by Ajay - thanks :) - attending meetings too, etc etc but one thing I have thoroughly realized, is that whether it is HUDA, DTCP, DC (Praveen Kumar), Mr Hooda, Builders...well everyone except us, is just playing around with the investors. Every positive hope shown by DC (by hearing our issues) / Hooda by meeting us and directing Babu's to prepare "reports" and take "action" - everything seems like they just give out a lollipop and want us to be happy for the time being and then again hand over another lollipop. Simply put - they are not serious.
Pls don't take my words wrong, but all I'm trying to say is that we should be only focusing majorly on going to court for all our issues not just EDC. Now I know this is not as easy as writing and that the core team of this community is working sleeplessly over it but fact is that this is the best option, else we are just loosing time.

I am ready for any type of contribution: time, money, effort...whatever it takes. But lets put most of our energy in moving to court. Disappointing with the government but I don't see any other way out.

Regards

Hi Rajat,

those were really nice words from your side. we are happy to have a nice person like you in our forum.

Surly, we would be taking your help in due course of time.

If you don't mind, can u pls specify your expertise so that we can align your contribution in our group?

Looking the seriousness of the Problems, you are absolutely rite that we need to take up these issues to Court not for EDC but for all major issues.

All Govt officials are making fool of us and buying time by one or other means.

Even I'm thinking to write letters to PMO, UPA chairperson, Urban development Ministry and other High level authorities..so tht at least this Haryana Govt wake up and think something for the development of Faridabad.

Note : We are well prepared with basic ground work for PIL agt EDC rise, but we are having very little contribution from our Forum members.

If anything is coming out by some little contribution, I don't understand why peoples are not coming forward for the same. We are not asking full time dedication, but at least we need something to take forward our drive...

We can spend or, even more specifically, can waste our money on small, small un-useful items. But we are hesitating to make contribute to save our self money...

Sorry, I writing this as what i feel is right or wrong.

Rest, peoples are more intelligent and can think wht is right or wrong?

take care

Any Eminent lawyer fee is not less than 2 lakh (even in advance) and we dont have even 50k contribution...Strange.!!!!..We are ready to pay builder undue demand, servcie tax, extra charges, podium charges,we have invested 25 lakh plus in flats, but if we will not fight everyone will have additional burden of minimum 70,000 and irony is despite more than 1000 members in forum ,we just wait other to come forward and contribute..

Court will open on 4th July, case will be file at Chandigarh high court, there will be additional logistics expenses for that along with time, energry etc required from few core members to go to Chandigarh..Still I see excpet few forum members majority are silent spectators..If atleast 50-60% forum people will not contribute, there is no bandwidth to go for WRIT/PIL which is expensive affair.

A positive start from HUDA has been made with respect to communications with GFWA. Yesterday, GFWA received written communication by registered post from HUDA Executive Engineer informing about development status. Let us build on this positive start and keep on engaging HUDA for development.

With respect to EDC increase, I agree with opinions shared by Ajay and Manish. It will be an additional burden of at least Rs 50,000 to us. If we all contribute 1/100th of this amount i.e. Rs 500, we will definitely be able to get stay on increase in EDC charges

Dheeraj - Can you please post scanned copy of the details shared by HUDA on "development" so far ?

Forget 1000 members on this forum. We have never seen strength going beyond 50-60, everytime a meeting is called.
Even if we reach a figure of 100-125 for the contribution, I don't think a 2000/- contribution per member should be such a big burden. Any apartment in Neharpar starts from (average) 35lac upwards, so we are dealing with people who can spend. Obviously, more the members, lesser the contribution required per member.

The reason why people have not contributed (in whatever sense) is (maybe) because of the following reasons:

1. Of all the registered members, only 20-25% would be updated about latest on Neharpar.
2. Of these 25%, only 10% must be getting involved in the communications on this forum.
3. Of these 10%, only 50-60% are attending meetings regularly.

So the issue is not sincerity in contributions, issue is unawareness. And we need to personally target those missing 70%.

As a first step, what is required is a straight forward communication regarding the PIL. The communication must have details about the objective/scope of this PIL, process of PIL (for members with little/no legal knowledge), details of lawyer which might be hired, time lines, expenses, possible outcomes - sent to all the members (e-mail, letter, phone call) to all the members asking for this contribution.

I am confident that people will contribute. But unless people know where their money will go, and what will it yield, it may not be possible.

Regards,
Rajat

PS The stats shown are basis my interactions with various investors of Neharpar, specifically of my own project.

hi all members...as said earlier many times.. i request all the registered members to contribute funds to GFWA so that we will be able to hire a good lawyer and move to court againt dealy in development and increase in EDC for our future residential area...

think....if we are dining out once with our family and spend more than Rs.500/- but with the same family we are planning to spend our whole life in our new homes..and we are not ready to contribute the funds for our better future...

please wake up your senses and be aware about the future happenings..

Rajat, letter talks almost about what was mentioned in Navbharat Times news on top of this page. Since, now communication is written and signed, it adds more credibility. Letter is currently with GFWA core team and can be seen on any of GFWA meets.

Reagrding PIL for EDC increase, we will be posting more details as we get more clarity.

Update on development work

Postby gauravarora » Mon Jul 04, 2011 2:22 pm

Dear All,

All newspapers are silent about the development news these days. Any clue on what is going on... Have they slept again or doing some ground work?

Hello Everyone,

We know that GFWA core team is busy with the other big issue on the increased EDC/IDC, but do we have some updates on the development of Greater Faridabad? Did HUDA acquire all land? From our past discussion and the meeting that core team had with Huda Officials, they were to start the development work by September.
Do we have any plan for a follow-up meeting on this issue?

Thanks

Hi Harinder,
We at GFWA, Keeping watch on all issues related to Gr. FBD area.

Yes, we are concerned about the development of Gr. FBD and as per News clippings Master Road approval is sent to HUDA-Head office for final approval.

Now we need to follow with HUDA -Head office for the same so that they can approve the Budget at the earliest and work can start on that area.

News Source : Dainik Jagran and Amar Ujala
