Enhanced EDC Demand For Puri Pratham

Forum member sent me a private message which I am posting. I request forum members to post on forum rather than sending private message. Forum is meant for sharing between members and also buyers of a particular society can help each other better.

Hi Dheeraj,

My membership has been approved today and i am also going to pay the
membership fees just now. I have a booking in Puri-Pratham, Sec-84 in the
month of Feb - 2011. Earlier my EDC was Rs 158 / sqft . New the builder has
enhanced to 158 + 208 Rs / sqft. Builder has also shared the Huda
notification of enhanced EDC vide HUDA-CCA-Acctt-01/2011/17903 dated
25/5/2011, but it is in Acres

Pls share the method to calculate psqft EDC.
To whom shall i write an RTI in HUDA to get the authentic calculation .

With regards to queries asked, here are answers from general prospective:

1. Please file RTI to DTP (HQ), Chandigarh for getting total enhanced EDC demand for Puri Pratham (Mention licence number while filing RTI). If you want a quicker response, visit Chandigarh and directly obtain dcouments from there. HUDA will NOT provide you any calculations but give yourself demand.

2. Once you are having this demand, calculate the total saleable super area in sq ft of your society (this can be done by adding up super area of all flats in your society).

3. For calculating rate per sq ft, divide total demand by total saleable sq ft.

Hi Naveen,

Pls see my reply under Puri Pratham topic.

I have filled an RTI to HUDA, and also asked them a question :
How much is their demand to the builder for this project ?
How much the builder has paid till date ?
Whether any interest is payable by end uses like us to builder ?

If i manage to get a reply from HUDA, i will post. Menwhile i have got the HUDA - EDC demand letter sent to builder for Pratham project, in case u need , do let me know, i will upload.

Hi all,

I also bought Flat in Puri Pratham-Tower no 4. and also recd. the demand for Enhanced EDC as mentioned by other friends here.Puri has forwarded the letter from HUDA authorities regarding enhanced EDC demands from which it is not clear that how Puri reached to fig. of Rs. 208/Sq. ft enhanced EDC.

Apart from this one more thing i would like to know i.e. about power back up.Because they have not mentioned any price against power back up.
