BPTP Parklands - EDC/IDC

Greetings

Its been some time that we are quiet about the issues pertaining to charging exorbitant Electricity Substation and Sewerage charges by BPTP @ 995 psy/-

No such charges are applicable and these are intrinsic part of township development as per licencing conditions. Further, these are common utilities and essentials which DTCP office needs to ensure are being developed by the builder.

Are we happy paying this money or are we expecting BPTP to roll back/rationalise this cost.

Tragic thing is that these costs are being imposed 6-7 years of the applications and agreements which clearly proved a negative intention of passing the cost of any such basic internal infrastructure development (which DTCP is required to audit and ensure before extending licenses).

Can we have comments on Plan of Action on this issue please from valued members here??

Hello ,It has been since more than one month that the matter regarding sewage and electricity charges was raised . I shall request you to please post the updates regarding the matter.also if there has been any correspondence with BPTP for the reduction in EDC
charges

Hi,

Two days back, i received demand letter from BPTP, asking for enhanced EDC. As per them, earlier EDC was 1024 psy/- which is now revised to 2400 psy/-

As per the letter

"The earlier EDC amount of Rs.1024/- per sq. yd. was based on the interim rates of the year 2005, which now
stands revised to Rs. 39.76 lacs per acre retrospectively w.e.f. 2005. Thus, on account of the said increase,
your EDC stands revised to Rs.2400/- per sq. yd. (Rs.2870/- per square mtr.)."

Can someone plz comment, if this rate (2400 psy/- ) is what we need to pay to BPTP after recent revision due to court orders. What should be the actual EDC that we should be paying.

what do we mean by IDC?

Infrastructure development charges?

or

Internal Development Charges.

As per Haryana Urban Development Regulation Act...

All the development works (INTERNAL) are to be done by colonizer. The cost of this development work

and the loss for the low rates of EWS plus the profit is to be considered while deriving the basic rate of plot.

With regard to Infrastructure development charges, it is mentioned it is applicable only to GH.

Hi all BPTP Plot Owners,
we would like to update you about the progress from the parklands owners association.

We are taking the issue of unjustified demand of STP, ESS , EDC and IDC (Infrastructure Development Charges) to all level of Govt. authority and even had meeting with some senior most officials in Govt. and Police officers.

We are in the last lap of hitting BPTP hard.

Here by , I would like to request to all members who are feeling cheated by BPTP for one or other reason to Join us and fight for common cause.

Secondly, we are looking for some such cases where BPTP changed Plot location an number of times and even current allocated Plot not available physically or even not available on Maps.

Just BPTP given allotment letters, without even having such plots.

These such cases would help us and would strengthen our case further.
