RTI Act saved from dilution

Under scanner of various scams, UPA Govt. has done a good thing by withdrawing 2006 amendments to RTI act. In reality, this decision does not matter but it sends positive signal from Govt. towards RTI act. RTI act which is under constant unfavorable decisions from Supreme Court has found moral support in UPA Govt.
