HUDA waives retrospective interest on enhanced EDC

But if I give this letter to RPS savana office by the now - i.e. in May'1, would they still be charging the interest from Sep'11 to May'12 because I am giving the letter after very long time.

Hi Jayanta: For villas, we have received enhanced EDC of 1376 per sq. yard (2400-1024). Is this amount as per the latest EDC notice sent by DTCP to builders. If not, would be great if you can attach the letter, we have to send to BPTP

I am not a member of GFWA group. Is there a way i can still get a copy of letter which HUDA send to builders for waiver of interest on EDC? I will appreciate is some can point me to link from where i can download that letter.

As result of GFWA efforts, now almost all builders have started returning or adjusting at least some of retrospective interest waiver. Return amounts vary from Rs 14 sq ft (Piyush), Rs 21 (RPS), Rs 26(SRS) and even Rs 40 per sq ft. This is bringing a relief ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000.

Resale for RPS touched 2850 BSP for middle floor 1303 sqft. yesterday i got 20 call from a broker to close the deal and when i refused he called m again in the night to enquire if i am ready at 2900/- so that he will speak to the buyer.

Note it by Dec it will reach 3500/-
